Designing a Visual Bubble of Safety for Nature-Led Protection

THE NEED

Introducing Safe, Natural Protection for the Modern Parent

Zguard needed more than just a product launch it needed a visual language that reassured. In a market saturated with chemically loaded mosquito repellents, the challenge was to position Zguard as a 100% safe, plant-based alternative that young, discerning parents could trust. We had to convey both safety and efficacy while nudging users toward a format they weren’t yet used to: a spray.

Encapsulating Safety with a Bubble of Trust

Zguard’s visual identity was built around a single, powerful metaphor: the protective bubble. We crafted a clean, modern wordmark with a leaf-inspired ink-trap typeface to highlight its plant-based roots. A calming green anchored the entire visual extending from packaging to illustrations subtly reinforcing the product’s chemical-free promise.

The packaging was bold yet minimal, centered on a core visual mosquitoes kept outside a distinct green bubble. For adults, the design is sharp. For kids, we introduced gender-specific icons & colour also a softer fabric roll-on sub-logo for babies, all set in a Western-style layout that feels premium yet familiar. Every design detail worked cohesively to make Zguard intuitively safe and visually reassuring.

THE IMPACT

A Disruptive Debut with Lasting Impact

Zguard had a massive launch as it was marked a powerful category shift. With its clean design and consistent visual system, the product resonated deeply with young parents leading to massive adoption and remarkable sales growth. Zguard not only carved a niche in the natural repellent space but also redefined how safety and style could co-exist on shelf.
