When Amoté entered the established market of Bakery/Patisserie in Coimbatore, they wanted to communicate to the city that they are different from the rest as they serve state-of-the art world class pastries and chocolates. Beyond the Ordinary

How do we differentiate a Patisserie surrounded by umpteen number of competitions? We discovered that Amote has exquisite desserts of European style in their menu that the Tier II city audiences aren't really exposed to. So, we tried to position Amote with the narrative “Beyond the Ordinary” to occupy a special mind-space of foodies of the city.

VISUAL BRAND POSITIONING

Inspired by European Aesthetics

We tried to visually infuse the narrative by crafting each brand element from the typography to color to designs carefully embodying the essence of European style. Avoiding the Indian aesthetics of vibrant colors, we used European style of pastel colors and subtle tone which eventually left a premium touch in their outlook.

THE IMPACT

Captivated the Food Influencers

Thus, the Sub-narrative “Coimbatore's first European style patisserie” derived from the “Beyond the Ordinary”, all struck a chord with the variety seekers. This sensational appeal prompted numerous Food influencers to make content about Amoté, leading to extensive organic advertising and promotion to the brand.
